Ashwin Bhadri- Making Society a Better Place to Live

If everything comes to you at ease, life seems to be boring. Unless there are no challenges, even you’re not aware to what extend can you stretch yourself. Everyone comes in a package with certain qualities and those help us face challenges and achieve something. If you’re unaware of what makes you accept the challenge, your life is just a waste.

Similar is the story of Ashwin Bhadri, CEO, Equinox Labs.

When it comes to his story, people during the beginning have a set mind, he might have transformed his father’s business and whatnot. While the fact is he made his mind to start something fresh.

Whenever Ashwin is asked, “What made you choose to leave the family-oriented business?

He answers, “Everyone works to make profits, live a luxurious life, and get few benefits. I just wanted to evolve the life of people by catering to the services that help to lead a sustainable life.”

Ashwin believes, “Businessmen step into the market to make profits, while leaders step to make a difference.” This is why he loves it when people call him a successful leader and not a businessman.

Ashwin completed his MBA degree from The University of Texas and managed to come to India to help his father. While you have a huge set-up waiting for you, you’re supposed to take direct charge and similarly, Ashwin headed the Customer Support Team, and to surprise, he did his job well.

Ashwin’s Father owned a Water Treatment company and he took the charge very well and helped his dad. People had an image that Ashwin will walk the footprints of his Father, Yes! He did but in his own way.

He worked with various people and various companies, there was something that bothered Ashwin. The question that disturbed him was, “Am I doing what satisfies me?” Well, Ashwin had a different image of an entrepreneur and he wanted to be known for what he wanted to and not what he received from his father.

The name of Ashwin’s father was the reason why most people knew him, while he wanted to be known for what he is. He wanted to be known for something that he contributes.

He wanted to focus on the most fundamental requirements of society and ensure that health and safety aren’t compromised. His dream was to make society a much better place to live. He wanted people to have access to clean water, good and hygienic food, and safe to breathe air.

As mentioned, Ashwin worked in a Water Treatment company and he knew the issues when it comes to accessing safe water. Slowly, he observed the surroundings and concluded air, water, and food, though are the necessities are being overlooked. People are educated, but on the front level, no actions are taken. Hence, he decided to fix those problems by understanding the scale of the problem. This was when Equinox Labs came into existence.

Ashwin Bhadri is known as the CEO of Equinox Labs but what makes him a leader is, he tried to spread his knowledge even after owning a company. He has trained an end number of people concerning Food Safety and Regulations. He closely works with FSSAI to ensure the laws that are framed are safe and suitable as per the standards. He has invested in various businesses.

Also, he conducts various interviews that help young people understand the story of other entrepreneurs closely.  If you’re about to work with him or want to take up any services, you’ll be amazed to know, he will never say “I’ll do it”, instead you’ll hear, “we’ll do it”. The concern from “I” to “We” is what makes people know how grounded the person is. Ashwin started his company with Food Testing and today he is known for Water and Air Testing too. He is specializing in every area, he can and this is not only limited to him but to society.

Ashwin believes, “Knowledge benefits or holds value only when you share. If something benefits the society and educating the same helps millions, then sharing knowledge becomes necessary.” This is one of the reasons why he trains people concerning Food Safety Regulations and guides people in various manners.
